Company Profile

In 1932 STAHLS' was founded in Michigan, USA. Today, Ted A. Stahl marks the third generation leading this family business. The customers wishes and needs continue to be the center of our attention. We have been dedicated in delivering quality products that are user-friendly and assisting customers providing fast turnaround at a profit. Our services and products offer an easy and lucrative way to get started in this industry. STAHLS' extensive program offers you a variety of materials, machines and all of the corresponding literature to ensure your new business is a success. We invite you to take advantage of our years of experience and product know-how in designing and creating these products and materials.

It all began with a manually operated die-cutting machine that was used to punch out numbers and letters of felt. These numbers and letters were then applied to various uniforms of sports teams. Nobody imagined then that this idea would be the foundation of a company that would soon be recognized worldwide.

This small enterprise grew at an astounding rate, becoming the largest felt stamping company in the country, by 1940. It was in 1940 when STAHLS' was searching for ways to make the process of applying numbers and letters onto garments easier. They began experimenting with various adhesives. The result of this experimenting was the development and introduction of a new, patented heat seal adhesive, which until today is the basis fo all our heat seal adhesives! This was the first time in history that a number or letter could be affixed to a garment using heat.

Soon STAHLS' was able to complement its already existing program offering a continuously expanding variety. Encouraged by the success within its own country, STAHLS' ventured out to market its products and services worldwide. Branches in Europe, Australia and Canada were opened. In 1980 STAHLS' Europe had its debut in Dillingen/Saar.

Today STAHLS' products are distributed in over hundreds of countries around the world.

Another milestone, 1986, marks the year in which STAHLS' began with the production of its own heat presses. Before STAHLS' had offered other manufacturers' heat presses. However, the requirements for heat presses continuously rose with the introduction of new materials. In order to keep up with the changing requirements and demands, STAHLS' decided to develop, design and manufacture its own heat press that would satisfy these new, higher demands - Hotronix® was the answer.

Today Hotronix® offers several lines of heat presses, and they are still the leader in this industry today. Held in highest esteem and being put to work - worldwide. Persistence, innovative ideas and permanent product optimization, as well our unsurpassed customer service have made STAHLS' the leading company it is today.
